İNTİSAD (International Businessmen Association), which was established with the aim of creating a reliable trade and friendship network around the world, celebrated its 6th anniversary in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Association members also met with Cypriot business people and evaluated joint investment opportunities. During one-on-one meetings, many agreements were made for Northern Cyprus, which has a great investment and business potential.
At the night, hosted by Turkey's successful presenter Özlem Yıldız, awards were given to leading figures of business, art and social life with the participation of business people and famous names from Turkey and many countries.
“Our aim is to open the doors of the world to Turkish investors”
In his speech before the gala night, İNTİSAD Chairman Selahattin Par stated that the association has come a long and successful distance in 6 years. Par said, “However, we still see ourselves at the beginning of the road. As an association, our first goal is to create a friendship and trade network around the world. We want Turkish investors to know that wherever they go, they have a friend there. Our goal is to create a network and guide all Turkish investors as well as our members. When one of our members goes to a foreign country to do business, we want our representative there to welcome him, help him with bureaucratic procedures and briefly guide him. This country could be in Germany, Ghana, Australia or Taiwan. "We currently have representatives in 16 countries and our total number of members is over 300," he said.
“Many projects have been implemented”
Par stated that having support in a foreign country provides great advantages in the process of doing business, and emphasized that this support makes investors' jobs easier by starting them ahead. He added that İNTİSAD aims to provide strong support to Turkish investors on international platforms by moving forward in line with this mission.
President Selahattin Par, in his statement about the meetings held in Northern Cyprus, stated that the association has members from every sector and said, “We have always observed that there are various business opportunities in Northern Cyprus. We came here to draw the attention of our members to this direction and wish them to take advantage of the opportunities.
"We have previously held similar meetings in different countries such as Germany, Qatar, Azerbaijan and Ghana, and many projects were implemented as a result of these meetings," he said.
Before the award ceremony, the objects donated by İNTİSAD members were auctioned and sold by the famous auctioneer Uğur Aydın Batur. İNTİSAD donated the proceeds from the auction to the Cancer Patients Aid Association. While Raziye Kocaismail, President of the Cancer Patients Aid Association, was having emotional moments on stage, İNTİSAD President Av. Selahattin Par promised to make the match dream of a child with bone cancer come true and gave him a Galatasaray jersey as a gift.
“Plaques were given to successful business people”
İNTİSAD presented awards to the leading figures of business, art and social life, each more valuable and successful in their fields, at a ceremony.
After the award ceremony, this wonderful night continued with the İsmail Özkan concert. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the night with İsmail Özkan's impressive voice and stage performance.
